First classical guitar lessons at the age of six.
At the age of eight, went through his parents' record collection and discovered albums from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Hendrix and realized that electric guitars are much cooler.
Since the age of 14 underway in the rock/hard rock genre and the foundation of THE KUNST, which toured live in the Stuttgart area for several years.
Founded CATWEAZLE in 1992 together with Thommy Claus.
1997 left CATWEAZLE and founded the progressive rock band SHADOW LAND.
1998 renamed EMPHASIS, which toured the region and recorded two CD's.
From 2000 founding of FIVE MEN BLACK (hard rock with psychodelic bonds) and other CD productions and tours.
2004 switch to rock covers and name change to WHITE RATT.
In the meantime also a member of LAYER'S CLUB, with whom he was nominated for the German Pop and Rock Prize.
2006 founding of BOSSLOTT Acoustic Bluesduo with Jürgen Boss.  Numerous club appearances continuing occasionally to this day.
2016 WHITE RATT disbanded and NEXT BIG THING (NBT) was founded as a cover rock trio.
2020 rejoining CATWEAZLE
Has been working as a guitar teacher in various styles for over twenty years.

Erster klassischer Gitarrenunterricht mit sechs Jahren.
Mit acht Jahren dann den elterlichen Plattenschrank durchforstet und Alben von Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple und Hendrix entdeckt und festgestellt, daß E-Gitarren viel cooler sind.
Seit dem 14. Lebensjahr im Rock-/Hardrockbereich-Bereich unterwegs und Gründung von THE KUNST, die mehrere Jahre live im Stuttgarter Raum unterwegs sind.
1992 dann zusammen mit Thommy Claus Gründung von CATWEAZLE
1997 Ausstieg bei CATWEAZLE und Neugründung der Progressive Rockband SHADOW LAND.
1998 Umbenennung in EMPHASIS, die in der Region touren und zwei CD’s aufnehmen.
Ab 2000 Gründung von FIVE MEN BLACK (Hardrock mit Psychodelic Anleihen) und weiteren CD-Produktionen und Touren.
2004 Wechsel auf Rock-Covers und Namensänderung in WHITE RATT.
Zwischenzeitlich auch Mitglied von LAYER‘S CLUB, mit diesen nominiert für den Deutschen Pop- und Rockpreis.
2006 Gründung von BOSSLOTT Acoustic Bluesduo mit Jürgen Boss. Zahlreiche Clubauftritte. Gelegentlich bis heute.
2016 Auflösung von WHITE RATT und Neugündung von NEXT BIG THING (NBT) als Coverrock Trio
2020 Wiedereinstieg bei CATWEAZLE
Über zwanzig Jahre tätig als Gitarrenlehrer in verschiedenen Stilrichtungen.
